Lab-Grown Diamonds:

  • What are lab-grown diamonds? Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds created in controlled laboratory environments using advanced technology. They possess the same physical and chemical properties as mined diamonds, resulting in stunning brilliance and fire.
  • Are lab-grown diamonds as valuable as mined diamonds? The value of a diamond depends on various factors, including the 4Cs (Cut, Color, Clarity, Carat weight). Lab-grown diamonds typically have a lower price point than mined diamonds of comparable quality.
  • Are lab-grown diamonds ethical? Yes! Unlike mined diamonds, which can have an uncertain origin and raise concerns about conflict diamonds, lab-grown diamonds are ethically sourced and free from any association with unethical mining practices.

Sustainability and Ethics:

  • How are Eco-Chic Diamonds eco-friendly? Lab-grown diamonds use significantly less land, water, and energy compared to traditional mined diamonds. This reduces their environmental impact and allows you to own a dazzling diamond with a clear conscience.
  • What about ethically sourced mined diamonds? We understand some customers may prefer mined diamonds. At Eco-Chic Diamonds, we offer a selection of responsibly sourced mined diamonds, ensuring they adhere to strict ethical guidelines and conflict-free practices.
  • Do you have certifications to verify your ethical claims? Transparency is important to us. We partner with suppliers who share our commitment to ethics and sustainability. Many of our diamonds come with certificates from reputable gemological laboratories, which can include origin information.

Jewelry and Care:

  • How do I clean my diamond jewelry? Gently clean your jewelry with a soft bristled brush and a lukewarm solution of mild dish soap. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasives, or ultrasonic cleaners. For detailed cleaning instructions, refer to our Jewelry Care Guide.
  • How often should I have my jewelry professionally cleaned? Schedule professional cleanings and inspections at your jeweler every six months to a year. This ensures your jewelry remains sparkling and allows a professional to check for loose prongs or hidden dirt.
  • What is the best way to store my diamond jewelry? Store your pieces in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. A fabric-lined jewelry box or pouch is ideal to prevent scratches and tangles.

Order Process

What happens after I submit my order via your website?

Once you submit your order, a credit card authorization hold occurs for the full amount. An authorization checks if your credit card is valid and that you have sufficient funds to complete the online transaction. The total amount of the online transaction is held and deducted from your credit card limit. Even though the funds are held and deducted from your credit limit, the funds are not automatically transferred to us until we capture the funds. Typically we try to capture funds and ship your order within a 7-day window. However, some pieces may take longer to produce and therefore may not ship for 2-3 weeks from the date of order.

How long does a credit card authorization last?

The credit card authorization period can last up to 7 days during which we can issue a credit card capture to retrieve the funds from your account. If the credit card authorization has not been captured within the 7 days the authorization becomes void. The funds are no longer held from your account and are put back into your account. The length of time it takes for the funds to be put back depends on your credit card issuing bank but is usually 3-5 business days.

What is verification/extra verification?

Once an order is placed, it is sent to our verification department where we monitor any transaction for possible fraud. Depending on the nature of the transaction, the order may be sent to "Extra-Verification". In this process, you will be sent an email requesting some form of identification (License, Passport, etc.) as well as the credit card used for the purchase (Last 4 digits). In extreme cases, you maybe asked to send a photo of yourself holding both items (picture will be attached to email as an example). This is done to ensure that the person placing the order is, in fact, the cardholder. Keep in mind that we do not save these emails in our server, but rather attach them to your customer profile so that you can avoid this process in the future should you place a future order.

How long will it take to receive my order?

We do our best to turn orders around as quickly as possible, but some items can take up to 2-3 weeks to receive. If you need something by a certain date or would like to expedite shipping, please make sure to put that in the notes section of your order, or send us an email at support@ecochicdiamonds.com We will always do our best to accommodate your requests and we appreciate your understanding and patience.

Payment Options

The card holder's bank may charge a currency conversion fee as all of our charges are made in US dollars.

Eco-Chic Diamonds can accept a variety of payment types. When you purchase an item through our shopping cart system, you will have the option of paying with a VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Meta Pay, PayPal, Venmo and shop. However, we do accept other types of payments, such as :

· Money Order

· Bank Wire Transfer

· Cash (In-House Appointment)

To use any of the four payment methods mentioned above, you will have to contact us by email at support@ecochicdiamonds.com.

IMPORTANT:

In some rare cases, credit card payments will have to be verified. Whenever we determine that card verification is necessary, our representative will call you shortly after we receive your payment to verify some key information, such as your shipping address. We take this extra precaution to make sure that you authorized the purchase made on your credit card.

LAYAWAY

Layaways require a 20% deposit of the items total.

Final payment must be made within 12 months; how you choose to pay for the item is at your discretion. Items are not shipped until paid in full. Layaway guarantees the price of the item, not availability. If the item is no longer available after your order is completely paid off, please allow for 2 to 8 weeks to complete the production of the item.

Any cancellations will result in a refund in the form of credit toward a future purchase. Payments made towards a custom item are non-refundable.

Shipping

1. Orders are processed within 24 to 72 hours. Unless otherwise specified, “same day” or “expedited” shipping are available, if order is placed before 12pm EST

2. If you need an item by a certain date, this can be arranged. Please let us know if you wish to make this type of request.

3. We ship WORLD-WIDE!

4. We are NOT responsible for incorrectly entered shipping addresses, any address corrections must be emailed as soon as possible to orders@ecochicdiamonds.com. If the shipping label has already been made, the buyer will be responsible for new shipping label with the updated address.

5. Orders above $300 will have an Adult Signature Requirement, no exceptions.
